Dr. John Waschak, DDS
John Waschak started his work career as an engineer, receiving a BS in Engineering with high honors and MS in Structural Engineering from California State University, Northridge. After working for almost 9 years as a structural engineer, Dr. Waschak returned to school and received his DDS degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry in 2003 and completed his combined residency in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry in 2006. This program trained him to provide complete dental care for children, addressing active oral disease as well as occlusal and skeletal abnormalities. Upon completion of the program he received certificates in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. Waschak is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Waschak stays involved in the dental community with active memberships in the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Rogue Valley Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Just so that you don’t think Dr. Waschak is a perpetual student, when he's not having fun straightening and fixing teeth you can usually find him tearing up the Oregon outdoors on his mountain bike (sometimes getting torn up….OUCH!) or celebrating special occasions with his large, extended family.
